The Getaway Motor Club was excited to have the internet’s most popular online urban city guide, Yelp, host one of their touted Yelp Elite parties at our home.
The Yelp Elite Squad is Yelp’s way of recognizing and rewarding yelpers who are active evangelists and role models, both on and off the site. Elite-worthiness is based on a number of things, including well-written reviews, great tips on mobile, a fleshed-out personal profile, an active voting and complimenting record, and playing nice with others. Basically, Yelp elite are the cream of the crop in helping you find the top places in your city to wine, dine, relax, and play!
The theme of the night was 60s pin-up, which was influenced by Deep Eddy Vodka’s pin-up girl branding. Attendees came dressed to the nines to enjoy various throwback delights including delicious beverages from Deep Eddy and EastCiders; tasty treats from Goldi’s Sausage Company and Fried & True; eclectic records from The Green Door; various products from Sephora, retro-jewelry specialists Dollface Accessories, and J. Hannah Co.’s perfumes; and a fun prop photo booth from Live Oak Photo Booth!
According to the professional reviewers themselves, the Yelp Pin-Up Party was a five-star hit event!
